Prevent A Litter is a fully licensed hospital dedicated to providing high quality, low cost spays and neuters. We opened in 1999 and have performed in excess of 100,000 spays and neuters! The mission of Prevent A Litter Veterinary Hospital is to eliminate the killing of healthy, otherwise adoptable companion animals simply because they are surplus and cannot be placed in loving homes.
Unfortunately, we are currently full for routine dog spay and routine dog neuter appointments through the end of June. We are a very small clinic and we fill up quickly due to the demand in the area for our services. We will start to schedule our July appointments on May 1st. Please call us on May 1st and leave a detailed voicemail or come in on May1st between 9am-4pm to schedule in person.
*If you have an emergency situation or special circumstance, please call us ASAP.

In order to continue to offer low cost, high quality spay and neuter surgery, we will raise the cost of our Rabies vaccination from $10 to $15 as of May 1st. We have not raised our spay and neuter surgery costs in over 10 years despite costs for supplies and medications continuing to go up year after year. We will continue to do all we can to keep the cost of surgery as affordable as possible. Thank you for understanding!
Don’t just take your dog for a walk… Take your Walk for a Dog!
Go to WoofTrax.com or the Apple App Store or Google Play to download the app, and support PAL every time you walk your dog. Even if you don't have a dog you can use a virtual dog or walk in memory of a dog. It's an easy way to help us help the animals!
